CSR,
hahaha wasn't "steady" when I was whining so much! :P

Ros,
Took 24hrs- basically 3 working days of 8hrs each, haha! Now I'm too lazy to finish the extra heart cake.

Lucky never learnt to do this BEFORE I got married. Or else will be one siao Bride DIY-ing own cake. I had DIYed deco flowers, bridal car flowers, decorating the ready wedding cake for own wedding- SIAO! Was chopping flowers whole night before wedding, next day was all panda-eyed and snapping at everyone!

Sharon,
Ur ex-colleague steady ah. I'm not so zhai, I'd be so worried about the "unfinished" cake. (And no time to do make-up?).

This is not a big cake (for a wedding cake). Will get K to flag a cab, direct cab to my basement carpark while I wait with flower kids and cake. Bundle kids in, put cake on my lap. Reach hotel, K carry cake to table. I try to adjust whatever happens (bring piping bag, extra fondant in case of accidents).

3-tiers, 6.5kg, 40cm/ nearly 16" height without the rose topper... shouldn't be too bad. I think can feed the 150 guests at wedding dinner if thin slices.

I could carry Ahboy's cake which was 5.5kg, 18" height- boy's cake had used same baking pans but carved away alot of cake for the topsy-turvy effect. More wastage in serving due to weird shapes too.

R,
cannot leh, already stacked neatly. If now separate, will have damage. Won't have time to decorate on-site, Ahgirl gotta rush from class to home to change into fancy dress etc.

Wow......Wow....and more Woooooowwwwww!
How are u gonna transport the cake? 3-tier at one go? My ex-colleague used to do this for her nephew's wedding and she told me she packed into 3 boxes for each tier and reached the venue earlier to stack them up and decorate.
